The Proud Little Spider Book

A little spider is wishing that he were "cute and furry" like a puppy so that children would love him instead of being frightened of him. He encounters a wise old owl who teaches him a lesson about his role on this earth and what things might look like if there were no spiders. As a result, the spider understands his importance and decides he is more than a "scary old pest" which makes him proud of who he is.
